1. About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the website bookmymutualfund.com and the BookMyMutualFund mobile app (together, the “Service”), operated by Nirav Bhut, India (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. Information only, not investment advice

BookMyMutualFund is a research and education service. We provide fund information, comparisons, calculators, articles and market news. We do not:

• buy, sell or redeem mutual fund units, or accept payments or hold your money;
• give personalised investment, tax or financial advice; or
• recommend that any particular person invest in any particular fund.

Lists such as “best” or “top” funds are based on published data and stated criteria, not on your circumstances. Before investing, read the scheme's offer documents (SID, SAI and KIM) and consider speaking to a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Any investment decision you make is your own.

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme-related documents carefully. Past performance is not an indicator of future returns.

3. Accuracy of data

NAVs and other fund details come from third-party sources such as AMFI and MFAPI, and returns, volatility and other measures are calculated by us from that data. We work to keep it correct and up to date, but it may be delayed, incomplete or occasionally wrong, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. Always confirm important figures with the fund house (AMC) or your account statement. If you spot an error, please report it.

Calculators (SIP, lumpsum, retirement, goal and tax) give illustrations based on the figures you enter and assumed rates of return. They are estimates, not promises of any outcome.

4. Your account

• Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
• Portfolios, goals and other details you enter are for your own tracking. They are not linked to your real folios, and we do not verify them.
• You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• break any law, or use the Service to mislead or defraud anyone;
• copy, scrape or download our content or data in bulk, or use automated tools to access the Service, except as allowed by our robots.txt;
• try to gain unauthorised access to, overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service or its systems;
• post content that is false, defamatory, abusive, obscene, infringes someone else's rights, or promotes a product or scheme; or
• pretend to be another person or misrepresent who you are.

6. Reviews and content you post

If you post a fund review or other content, you remain its owner, but you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, store and reproduce it as part of the Service. You are responsible for what you post. We may edit or remove content that breaks these Terms or that we are required to remove by law, without notice.

7. Our content

The BookMyMutualFund name and logo, the design of the Service, our articles, and the way we compile and present data belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to it. Any other use, such as republishing our articles or data, needs our written permission. Fund names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Third-party links and news

The Service links to, and shows headlines from, websites we do not control, such as news publishers and fund houses. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose, and we may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any investment loss, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on any information in it. The Service is free to use, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Indemnity

If you break these Terms or the law while using the Service, and a third party makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from that claim.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, misuses the Service, or where we are required to by law. Sections 2, 3 and 6 to 11 continue to apply after your account is closed.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will tell account holders by email or on the website. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to them or to the Service is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
